WIEHLSTAHL offers mechanical steel processing according to your requirements with the highest reliability, adherence to delivery dates and quality. With seven high-performance band saws, five of them are automatic, WIEHLSTAHL cuts the material to the desired lengths required by the customer. Reliable partners take over the prefabrication and machining for WIEHLSTAHL according to customer requirements in terms of milling, turning, drilling and grinding. WIEHLSTAHL delivers regionally and nationwide with its own fleet of vehicles.
WIEHLSTAHL Handels GmbH & Co. KG has been DIN ISO certified without interruption since 2003. We thus prove that our quality management system meets the requirements of the respective applicable standard. With the re-certification in March 2018, we have adapted our quality management system to the new DIN ISO 9001:2015 standard. At the same time, we changed the certification company and were successfully certified by TÜV Rheinland. The application requirements for modern materials are becoming increasingly specialised and diverse. With our certified quality management system based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, you play it safe! Company anniversary - a reason to celebrate! WIEHLSTAHL - successful in the steel trade for 40 years. With technical know-how for steel and the right feeling for the market, WIEHLSTAHL successfully differentiates itself from the competition.
We will continue to preserve the spirit and philosophy of the company in the future and, characterised by team spirit and common goals, make ourselves strong for our customers. We look forward to the next 40 years!
On 1 November, the senior boss Dieter Kranenberg takes his well-deserved retirement as part of the generational succession. Thorsten Kranenberg is now the sole shareholder and managing director.
In October, WIEHLSTAHL provides itself with planning security for future expansion measures at the proven location in 51674 Wiehl by purchasing a plot of land of approx. 1,500 sqm. The fully developed plot borders directly on the south side of the previous company premises.
In March the re-audit for certification takes place. With the certificate according to the new standard DIN EN 9001:2008 WIEHLSTAHL is certified that the quality management system is successfully implemented and lived.
At the end of September the ground-breaking ceremony for the new building project "Hall 3" takes place, with which WIEHLSTAHL will increase the storage capacity by approx. 40%. For the first time, a 10-ton crane will be used in order to be able to fulfil customer requests for larger workpieces in the future.
01.04.1977 until 01.04.2007:

In February, we put our new high-performance AMADA HFA400W automatic band saw into operation. This investment enables us to meet the increasing demands of the market and our customers for material cuts and fixed lengths.
Thorsten Kranenberg joins the company. The future of WIEHLSTAHL is secured.
In January 2004, WIEHLSTAHL expands its extensive bright steel range by moving into a newly built additional warehouse.

The team now consists of 12 people. With several saws and three crane systems, fast and reliable order processing is always guaranteed.
Thanks to the traditionally grown high-quality steel stock and the consistent steady expansion of the range of materials, customers are supplied mainly from stock.
The successful introduction of a quality management system at WIEHLSTAHL is documented by the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001/2000.
Founding partner Willi Dick retires from the company at the age of 65. Dieter Kranenberg becomes sole owner of WIEHLSTAHL.
In the meantime, several automatic sawing machines are in use. A second ABUS crane system is installed.
Moving into the new buildings. From the centrally and conveniently located industrial area Bomig-West, WIEHLSTAHL supplies its customers now regionally and nationwide with its own fleet of vehicles.
Start of construction: WIEHLSTAHL builds its own warehouse and administration building in the new industrial area Bomig-West in Wiehl.
Foundation of WIEHLSTAHL Dick + Kranenberg Handels GmbH & Co. KG by the partners Willi Dick and Dieter Kranenberg.
Initially based in Wiehl-Oberbantenberg, the steel trade is operated without its own warehouse. The first lorry for material delivery is purchased immediately.
Already in autumn of the following year, the company moves to larger rented storage rooms with crane facilities in Osberghausen. An extensive material warehouse is built up the first own saw is used.
